Introduction:
The aim of the ZEST project is to contribute to improving the health and well-being of the people of North Manchester. It does so by tackling the main health issues in the area by initiating and supporting activities which include:
- Increasing physical activity
- Improving nutrition
- Helping to reduce stress and social isolation.
The project supports communities and allows them to identify their help needs and helps to develop solutions and direct planning to deliver their services.
This project delivers many exercise classes and educational sessions. Also fun activities such as card making to help the isolated members of the society meet new people and learn new skills. It also provides some chair based exercises to prevent falls, contact us for more details.
